WANDERLUST; Barcelona

The highlight of Barcelona is the Gaudi architecture.

He designed and built Park Güell in Barcelona – a perfect place for a picnic and architectural feast.

Antonio Gaudi was involved in the design of Sagrada Família, a large Roman Catholic church. It is unique because he focused on decorating the exterior of the church so it could be enjoyed from outside. It is due to be completed in 2030.

Street performer with rabbits. So cute.

More street performers – in the Gothic Quarter.

Spain is a very carnivorous country. As a vegetarian in Spain eating was very difficult and finding filling vego food was quite a tiring process each day.

My mum found some information about the only vegan restaurant in Barcelona – CatBar.

We had vegan burgers and vegan beers and it was only about €10 each.

Barcelona is such an alive city and I would love to go back for the Sonar Festival of Music and Multimedia Art, hopefully next year.
